Teenage Shane of Kingston is truly a sports nut!  His favorite game is Madden Football, his favorite movie is “Remember the Titans”, and his favorite team is the New York Yankees.   So it was no surprise when he wished to meet NBA legend Michael Jordan!

In December 2007, it was time to make his wish come true!  Shane, his mom, and his sister Gabby hopped in a limo, and then a plane to the Windy City.  When they arrived VIP-style, they stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental, a beautiful hotel on Michigan Avenue.  There, he was treated to some fresh pumpkin pie, Chicago style (his favorite food / snack).

The next day, Shane and his family met Air Jordan!  He asked lots of questions, got lots of autographs and took dozens of pictures.  Shane said he had “a great time” and he was thankful for “the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet” his idol.  Later that night, his family traveled to see a Chicago Bulls game.  The next day, Shane enjoyed eating and playing at the ESPN Zone, and explored all Chicago has to offer.
