Teenager Alexandra of Sloatsburg is a Yankee fan and loves to dance!  She plays softball, loves TGI Friday’s, and watches the Gilmore Girls.  Her favorite food is chocolate ice cream, and her favorite movie is “Remember the Titans”.  She thought for quite a while about her wish and decided to have a Sweet 16 party with all her friends and family!

The date finally arrived; Allie’s big night took place on December 1, 2007 at the world-famous Hotel Thayer at historic West Point.  When she arrived by limo she discovered the first of many surprises as she was escorted by a US Military Academy officer!

As she made her way through the front doors in a marvelous red gown, Allie was surprised again by a majestic “saber arch,” performed by a whole host of officers in full formal dress uniforms.

Allie and her escort strode through the arch and were greeted by her cheering crowd of friends and relatives.

True to their word, this group didn’t sit idly by; the dance floor was packed with party-goers having the best of times!  It was a magical, wonderful evening.  Allie herself said,
“It was the best Sweet Sixteen imaginable!”
