Board Officers

Glen Iurato, Chair

Glen IuratoGlen Iurato is a partner at the accounting firm Colasanti & Iurato, LLP. Glen has over twenty years of accounting, tax and managerial experience. His areas of expertise are financial statement reporting and internal accounting and budget controls. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Mercy College and became a CPA in 1994. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Glen lives in Chappaqua with his wife Lynn and their two sons.


Andrew C. Quinn, Vice-Chair

Andrew QuinnAndrew C. Quinn is the managing partner of The Quinn Law Firm, PLLC. The firm’s primary focus is to serve the needs of the law enforcement community including the NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association, the Yonkers Police Association and the Putnam County Sherriff’s Association. Andrew is a graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington D.C.. Andrew and his wife, Cornelia, are parents to wish child, Jake, his twin brother, Garrett, and older sister, Julianne. The Quinns live in Yorktown.


John Armentano, Secretary

John Armentano John Armentano is the Vice President of Corporate Development and Acquisitions for Paraco Gas Corporation, a family owned and operated energy and distribution company.  The business was founded by John’s Father, Pat, in 1969 and currently services nine states.  John has held various sales and operational positions in the company and was named Vice President of Sales in 1992.  In 2005, he was appointed Vice President Corporate Development & Acquisitions.  He serves as a District Director of the New York State Propane Gas Association and is a Board of Director for the Propane Gas Association of New England.  John is an active member of the Lewisboro Lions Club and a past Board Member of the Lewisboro Baseball Association.  John is a graduate of Mercy College.  He resides in South Salem, New York with his wife Nancy and sons Tyler, Ryan and Alex.


Howard Goldstein, Treasurer

Howard GoldsteinHoward Goldstein is the Managing Partner of Cortlandt Private Capital, an investment firm specializing in working with and investing in private companies. He is also the co-founder of and an operating partner of Vendanta Capital, a diversified Venture Capital Investment firm. He also serves on the Board of the Hudson Valley Hospital Center and the Hope for Youth Foundation. Howard is a certified Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley. Howard graduated from Clark University and received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Howard lives in Cortlandt Manor with his wife, Neva, (also a Wish Granter). They have two grown children, Rebecca and Jesse.

Board of Directors

As a whole, the board determines the Foundation’s mission and vision. It selects, evaluates and supports the president and chief executive officer. The board also protects the Foundation’s assets, enhances its public standing, ensures accountability, maintains legal integrity and assesses its own performance.



Jason Anthony

Jason Anthony is a Senior Vice President in Structured Product Sales at FTN Financial. Prior to joining FTN Financial, Jason was a Vice President in Fixed Income Sales at JP Morgan Securities. Jason is a Wish Grantor and Wish Dad. His daughter, Kaitlyn received her wish to go to Disney World in 2008. In her memory, Jason and his wife Jessica have been major fundraisers and volunteers for Make-A-Wish. He graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in Finance. Jason and Jessica live in Bedford with their four children.



Dr. Jay Boyer

Dr. Jay Boyer

Dr. Jay Boyer is a Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist at the New York Medical College and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, where his is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. Dr. Boyer is also a Fellow of the American Thoracic Society and a Fellow of the America College of Chest Physicians. Previously, Dr. Boyer also served as the Medical Director for the Marty Lyons Foundation (Westchester Chapter). He received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Fordham University and his M.D. from the State University of New York at Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Boyer lives in Yorktown Heights with his wife Marianne and their children.



Debbie Cuney

Debbie Cuney has been a MAW volunteer for more than a decade, serving as a Wish granter. Each year, she and Cathy Sifre, conduct a fundraiser that has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help make wishes come true. Debbie attended SUNY New Paltz. She currently assists in the bid process and construction scheduling for new multifamily properties for Seakill Home Builders, and also serves as property manager. Debbie volunteers with Kingston Kiwanis and has previously volunteered at St. Joseph’s Church in New Paltz, where she taught religious instruction, worked the food pantry, and is a Eucharistic Minister. Debbie has two children and two grandchildren and currently resides in New Paltz.


Christopher Frawley

Christopher R. Frawley

Christopher R. Frawley is the Assistant Director of Planned Giving for the West Point Association of Graduates.  Chris is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA in from Columbia University.  He also has extensive experience in the financial services industry having served as a District Sales Manager at the Bank of New York, Government Banking Segment Manager at Hudson Valley Bank, as a Financial Advisor Associate at Citigroup Smith Barney, and most recently as a Senior Premiere Relationship Manager at HSBC Bank.  Chris has served as Trustee and Deputy Mayor for the Village of Tuckahoe and as Treasurer and Vice President for the Friends of Westchester County Parks, and is a member of the Board of the Friends4Michael Foundation.  Chris lives in Croton-on-Hudson with his wife, Caroline, and son, Liam.


Linda HanniganLinda Hannigan
    
Linda Hannigan is a partner at Sedore & Co., CPA’s in Poughkeepsie where she specializes in audits of not-for-profit organizations and municipalities. Linda has thirty years of experience and earned the AICPA Governmental/Not-for-Profit Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Achievement. Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants New York State Society of CPA’s, NYS Government Finance Officers’ Association and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Linda currently serves as Treasurer of the Bon Secours Community Hospital Foundation as well as Treasurer of the Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board. Linda received a BS in Accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College and received her CPA designation in 1986.

Jennifer Herodes
    
Jennifer M. Herodes, Esq. is a Partner in the law firm of Herodes and Mole’, PC in Mahopac, New York. Her firm provides special counsel to municipalities and the scope of her practice extends to real estate law, land use and zoning, civil litigation, wills and estates, corporate law commercial transactions and criminal law. Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Oneonta and her law degree at Pace University School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Putnam Bar Association. Jennifer, her husband Bobby and four children live in LaGrangeville in Dutchess County.

Tom Leihbacher

Tom Leihbacher is a Wish Dad. Tom currently is a volunteer at the Hudson Valley Chapter, and is a part our Chapter’s Speaker’s Bureau. Outside of Make-A-Wish, Tom is a Sales Manager, East for YP.Com (AT&T) where he helped relaunch YP as a premier advertising platform. Prior to joining YP, Tom was involved in sales for Boingo Media of Los Angeles and at Premier Retail Networks (PRN) of San Francisco. He also volunteers at the Ossining Food Pantry and is a Youth Group Leader at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Briarcliff. Tom received a BS in Advertising from the University of Florida and a Masters in Education from Pace University. Tom and his wife, Rachel, have a grown son - Wish Alumni Tommy - and currently live in Briarcliff Manor.


Ken Mahoney
    
Ken Mahoney is a financial advisor and the CEO of Mahoney Asset Management. Ken is a regular guest financial contributor on CNBC and WPIX and a financial analyst on Fox Business. Ken is also a producer who has won multiple Tony Awards and three Emmys. He also has also received a Grammy nomination. Ken, his wife Trish, and their two sons live in North Salem, NY in Westchester County.


Jessica A. Rosh

Jessica A. Rosh is an attorney with training in mediation and conflict resolution. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she was an Articles Editor on the Law Review. Jessica previously served on the President's Advisory Council of The Rosenthal JCC in Pleasantville, NY, as well as on the Board of Directors of Bet Torah in Mt. Kisco, NY.

Jessica and her family have been a longtime supporters of Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley and she is a Wish Granter and Wish Sibling as well. Her brother's Wish - the Chapter's first Presidential Wish - was granted in 1989. She lives in Westchester County with her husband David and their 2 daughters, Lauren and Emma.


Gerry RyanJeremiah G. (Gerry) Ryan

Jeremiah G. (Gerry) Ryan is the President and CEO of DGC Capital Construction Corporation, a regional construction management firm specializing in building design and retail interiors, which he cofounded with his two partners in 1985.  He is also a partner in both Molly Spillane’s Restaurant in Mamaroneck, New York and Rogue Bar & Restaurant in NYC.Gerry is Chairman of Fulfilling a Dream Foundation, a not-for-profit organization he founded in 1995 to benefit young people who have limited financial ability to pursue higher education.

He serves as Chairman of the Board of Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of Directors at Community Mutual Savings Bank in White Plains, New York. He also serves as Board Member (Treasurer) for the Mount Vernon Police Foundation.

Gerry attended Limerick Technical College in Ireland before completing graduate courses in  Construction Management at NYU and obtaining his Real Estate License at Lehman College.

Gerry is a long-time supporter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. He resides in Thornwood, New York with his wife, Mary, and their four children.


Cathy Sifre

Cathy Sifre has been a MAW volunteer for more than a decade, serving as a Wish granter. Each year, she and Debbie Cuney conduct a fundraiser that has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help make wishes come true. Cathy graduated from the University of Delaware and spent over twenty years in the advertising industry. In addition to her work with Make-A-Wish, she is involved in the New Paltz Chamber of Commerce, the New Paltz PTA and the New Paltz Athletic Association. Cathy lives in New Paltz with her husband, George, and their two children.
