Andrew serves as the honorary captain at ARMY football's 4th home game

West Point Honorary Captain - Andrew
Andrew, a 15-year-old from Westchester county served as the fourth Make-A-Wish® honorary captain for the season when the ARMY Black Knights faced off versus the Air Force Falcons. Read more...

Andrew and his family were greeted and escorted by volunteer Jessica Sweatt who showed them around Michie Stadium and got him pumped up for his day as honorary captain.

Andrew also had the opportunity to hang out on the sidelines as he waited to be introduced as "Honorary Team Captain" for the day. As they waited, the ref joked with Andrew asking him which team he was rooting for since he was wearing Air Force colors on his cap (Andrew was wearing his HS team cap). You may notice in the photo below that Andrew switched caps midway through the game to show his support for ARMY - like a true captain!

Andrew - West Point

Although ARMY lost to Air Force 23-6, Andrew had a great time watching Army football at Michie Stadium. Special thanks to West Point for providing these amazing experiences for our wish kids. Shout out to Andrew's volunteer escort Jessica and to Dad for sharing all the great photos!

Andrew's wish was granted earlier this year to meet the world's most advanced humanoid robot, ASIMO by Honda, in Japan.
