Wish kid Haiden serves as the honorary captain at the Army football game

Haiden, a 9-year-old from Westchester county served as the first Make-A-Wish® honorary team captain of the season for the Army Black Knights as they faced-off versus Wake Forest. Read more...

Haiden and his family were greeted and escorted by his wish granters, Ashley Reisler and Jessica Rosh, who showed them around Michie Stadium.

As part of the day, Haiden participated in the coin toss and chatted with several ARMY football players. He also had the opportunity to hang out on the sidelines with the referees as he waited to be introduced as "Honorary Team Captain" for the day. A 47-yard field goal with four seconds remaining on the game clock gave Wake Forest the win over the Army Black Knights. Although Army lost to Wake Forest 17-14 at Michie Stadium, Haiden was treated like a VIP and had a great time at the game.
