Wish kid Thomas serves as Honorary captain at the Army football game

Thomas, a 17-year-old from Orange county served as the third Make-A-Wish® honorary team captain of the season for the Army Black Knights as they faced-off versus Bucknell University. Read more...

Thomas and his family were greeted and escorted by volunteer, Ketsy Diaz-Devis, who showed them around Michie Stadium.

As part of the day, Thomas participated in the coin toss and chatted with one of the referees as he waited to be introduced as "Honorary Team Captain" for the day.

While on the sidelines, Thomas had the opportunity to meet several distinguished Army personnel including Superintendent of West Point Lt. Gen. Robert L Caslen, Jr and the Athletics Director Boo Corrigan.

The Army West Point football team used a late scoring drive in the fourth quarter to close out a 21-14 victory over Bucknell improving to 2-5 after the win. It was not only a WIN for Army Football but for Thomas and his family too who had a wonderful day hosted by West Point.

Special thanks to West Point for providing these amazing enhancement experiences for our wish kids and to Ketsy for the great photos!

Thomas is scheduled to go to Hawaii next Summer.
