Wish kid Julianna serves as the honorary captain at the ARMY football game

Julianna, an 11-year-old from Westchester county served as the first Make-A-Wish® honorary team captain of the season for the ARMY Black Knights as they faced-off versus Lafayette. Read more...

Julianna and her family were greeted and escorted by volunteer, JoAnn Parker, who showed them around Michie Stadium.

As part of the day, Julianna participated in the coin toss and chatted with several ARMY football players. Julianna was greeted by the Dean of the Academic Board, Brigadier General Cindy Jebb and was given a special commemorative coin which brought a smile to her face.  She also had the opportunity to hang out on the sidelines with referees as she waited to be introduced as "Honorary Team Captain" for the day. During the game, the Black Knights scored early and often, defeating Lafayette, 62-7.

Special thanks to West Point for providing these amazing enhancement experiences for our wish kids and to Ashley and Jessica for the great photos!

Julianna's wish to go to Hawaii was granted this past May.
