Organize an Event

As you may have heard, Make-A-Wish® recently granted one of its most epic wishes ever. A five-year-old boy with leukemia lived out his wish of becoming a superhero-saving the city of San Francisco from two troublesome villains.

The phenomenal support of volunteers, donors and more than 13,000 people from the community of San Francisco made his wish possible. But there’s something that every Batkid fan needs to know:

Make-A-Wish does this every single day. Somewhere in the United States, volunteers grant a wish every 38 minutes but they are only reaching half of the eligible kids.

Please help today by organizing an event or by contributing any amount you can - $30, $50, $100 or even more. Every dollar that you donate can help Make-A-Wish grant wishes to kids across the country and right here in our community. It’s our turn to be superheroes.Thank you for your support!

Events are organized by outside parties to benefit Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley. Event sponsors vary from individuals, companies and corporations, kids groups, community groups and just about anyone who has a great idea for a fundraiser.

Some of the unique and special community events that have been organized include golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, car shows, softball tournaments, bowling tournaments and silent auctions.

As we reach out to children with life-threatening medical conditions, we rely heavily on the incredible generosity and commitment of people in our community to fulfill each wish request. Your help is needed.
