Wishes are the cornerstone the Make-A-Wish Foundation® is founded on and we look forward to seeing every wish come true. Wishes can be small or large, simple or elaborate, but that are all important.

Seventeen-year-old Dequan flew all the way across the country for his wish-come-true. The teen from Mt. Vernon, New York, wished to meet the President Vice-President of Jordan BrandBrand Jordan at Nike, headquartered in near Beaverton, Oregon, just outside of Portland. Dequan and his family arrived at Nike Campus to be greeted by Make-A-Wish® volunteers and Nike staff. The family was escorted to the Jerry Rice building where the Jordan Brand offices are located. “I wish to go on a cruise with my family”

When I found out I was getting a Make-A-Wish, I didn’t immediately think “what do I want?” Instead I thought– “what would my family like”. Something relaxing and family oriented… and it hit me one day when I was watching TV! A commercial came on for a family cruise on the Carnival Cruise line.
