It is our privilege at the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley to offer the companionship of imagination... to invite a child to dream beyond the limitations of their illness... and, ultimately, to give full expression to their heart's longing. When we accomplish this, we have provided a path during illness that is not seen by the eye, but experienced from the heart. We are told by Wish Parents and by Wish Children that having a wish granted can bring about hope, a sense of wellness and a cure for the spirit.
