Chloe wishes to have a puppy to keep her company

Chloe meeting her new puppy for the first time

“ the phoenix represents how I feel about Make-A-Wish...it rises from the ashes and this is what Make-A-Wish did for me. ”

When her wish granters met with her, Chloe told them she would love a puppy to keep her company since she was so lonely. Chloe picked out the perfect little yorkie puppy which she named "Boss".

Chloe and her mother and father moved in March 2012 from their home in Chine where was very active with her ballroom dancing competitions and art. She attended seventh grade in her new hometown of Chappaqua, NY for just a couple of months when her illness was diagnosed. Since that time, she was either in the hospital or at home.

After all her friends behind in China and having much of an opportunity to make new ones before she became ill, Chloe knew exactly what she wanted more than anything else. When her wish granters met with her, Chloe told them she would love a puppy to keep her company since she was so lonely. Chloe picked out the perfect little yorkie puppy which she named "Boss".

Chloe spends her time watching the antics of Boss and working on her art. As a special present for her wish granters, Chloe drew a beautiful picture, which she said "represents how I feel about Make-A-Wish". It was a picture of a phoenix, which she says, "rises from the ashes and this is what Make-A-Wish did for me".
