Brian J. Doyle
Brian J. Doyle has been a member of the FDNY since 2001. A longtime supporter of Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, he is also the co-owner of the J.P. Doyle’s Restaurant in Sleepy Hollow and The Celtic Corner in Dobbs Ferry. Brian attended Manhattan College, is a a member of the FDNY Emerald Society and a current Board Member of the Tarrytown Sleepy Hollow Chamber of Commerce, having served as its President from 2009-2011. Brian and his wife Jennifer, reside in Dobbs Ferry with their two children, Caileigh and Michael.
Robert (Bob) Fuhrer
Robert Fuhrer returns to the Board for a second stint as a Director. Bob founded Nextoy, LLC in 1981. The Company develops and brings new consumer product concepts to the market in the field of toys & games, puzzles, publishing, and gifts. Nextoy’s clients include Hasbro, Spin Master, Goliath Games, Sterling Publishing and the New York Times. Classic Nextoy products include KenKen® Puzzles, Crocodile Dentist, Gator Golf, and iTop.
Bob is a graduate of Syracuse University, and is a long-time resident of Chappaqua, New York, where he lives with his wife Judy. They have three grown children.
Kevin G. Graves
Kevin G. Graves is the managing Partner in the law firm Doonan, Graves and Longoria LLC, a broad based real estate, estate, and business law practice operating in New York, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. Previously, Kevin served in the County Attorney’s office and served on the County Executive’s Cabinet as the Westchester County Director of Real Estate. Kevin is a longtime supporter of Make-A-Wish and an avid golfer. Kevin graduated from the University of Rhode Island and received his Juris Doctorate from Howard University. Kevin resides in White Plains with his wife, Donna.
Linda Hannigan is a partner at Sedore & Co., CPA’s in Poughkeepsie where she specializes in audits of not-for-profit organizations and municipalities. Linda has thirty years of experience and earned the AICPA Governmental/Not-for-Profit Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Achievement. Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants New York State Society of CPA’s, NYS Government Finance Officers’ Association and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Linda currently serves as Treasurer of the Bon Secours Community Hospital Foundation as well as Treasurer of the Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board. Linda received a BS in Accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College and received her CPA designation in 1986.
Glen Iurato is a partner at the accounting firm Colasanti & Iurato, LLP. Glen has over twenty years of accounting, tax and managerial experience. His areas of expertise are financial statement reporting and internal accounting and budget controls. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Mercy College and became a CPA in 1994. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Glen lives in Chappaqua with his wife Lynn and their two sons.
Jason Kaplan is a Partner in the law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP, a broad based international firm specializing in litigation, corporate law and finance. He specializes in equipment finance and leasing, specifically in the aviation sector. Jason is a longtime supporter of Make-A-Wish. Jason graduated from the Pace University with both a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration and received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University Jason resides in West Harrison with his wife, Alexis and daughter, Madison.
Shannon King is an accomplished business executive with extensive multi-media expertise and strong record in building successful businesses, brands, and products. She’s the majority of her career at Fortune 500 organizations like AOL, Yahoo, Time Inc and A+E Networks, and most recently has served as Chief Operating Officer at multiple start-ups devoted to advancing women and girls. King is a graduate of Smith College and an active member of the Seven Sisters Alumnae Association as well as spends the rest of her time as an Educational Advocate in the state of New York. She lives in Ossining, NY with her husband and 3 children, one of whom is a wish kid.
Kerry Lyons, is Senior Vice President, Marketing for Ripple Street, an influencer marketing company that connects brands with the people who love them to drive targeted trials, branded content creation, authentic product reviews, insights and more. A freelance writer in her spare time, Kerry has been published by The New York Times, Huffington Post, Parents magazine and Budget Travel, among others. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Mercy College. Kerry received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Villanova University and lives in Irvington with her husband Desmond, their five children and two dogs, Beckett and Barkley.
Ken Mahoney is a financial advisor and the CEO of Mahoney Asset Management. Ken is a regular guest financial contributor on CNBC and WPIX and a financial analyst on Fox Business. Ken is also a producer who has won multiple Tony Awards and three Emmys. He also has also received a Grammy nomination. Ken was originally elected to the Board in 2001 and returned for a second stint in 2015.
Dr. Avinash Mohan
Dr. Avinash Mohan is a pediatric neurosurgeon with board certifications in both neurological surgery and pediatric neurological surgery. He achieved his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Mohan performed his residency at New York Medical College where he was Chief Resident, and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Mohan has been an author on numerous publications and presentations, as well as the recipient of multiple honors and awards. He is affiliated with several hospitals in the area, including Northern Westchester Hospital and Westchester Medical Center.
Lauren Mounty, PH.D.
Lauren Mounty, PH.D is the Dean of the School of Global and Professional Programs at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She manages all nontraditional programs, full online and hybrid degree programs, as well as the executive center located in Fishkill, New York. She also works closely with the branch campus location in Florence and works to build a global presence for nontraditional initiatives abroad. A career educator, Lauren was previously Associate Dean, Graduate School of Business Administration at Fordham University for 22 years and was responsible for the oversight of all academic programs, admissions, career services and program management activities for the graduate business school at Fordham's campuses in Manhattan, Westchester County, and Beijing, China. Lauren lives in Bedford Hills, New York with her husband Martin Eisenberg and two daughters Alyssa and Meredith.
Michael Mueller is a Detective with the Yonkers Police Department, currently on assignment with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Task Force. Mike joined the Yonkers Police Department in 1997 and was promoted to Detective in 2006. Mike is a graduate of the United States Department of Justice/FBI Criminal Investigation Course. He has served in leadership roles in the Yonkers Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, St. Baldrick’s, and the CYO at Annunciation- Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Michael lives in Yonkers with his wife Amanda and their two children.
Jessica A. Rosh
Jessica A. Rosh is an attorney with training in mediation and conflict resolution. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she was an Articles Editor on the Law Review. Jessica previously served on the President's Advisory Council of The Rosenthal JCC in Pleasantville, NY, as well as on the Board of Directors of Bet Torah in Mt. Kisco, NY.
Jessica and her family have been a longtime supporters of Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley and she is a Wish Granter and Wish Sibling as well. Her brother's Wish - the Chapter's first Presidential Wish - was granted in 1989. She lives in Westchester County with her husband David and their 2 daughters, Lauren and Emma.
Jeremiah G. (Gerry) Ryan
Jeremiah G. (Gerry) Ryan is the President and CEO of DGC Capital Construction Corporation, a regional construction firm specializing in building design, retail interiors and medical work, which he co-founded with his partner, Brendan Ahern in 1987. He is CEO for Aris Renewable Energy, a renewable energy firm located in Mount Vernon. He is also a partner in Nonna Carola, a fine dining Restaurant, located in Mamaroneck, New York. Gerry is Chairman of Fulfilling a Dream Foundation, a non-for-profit organization he founded in 1995 to benefit young people who have limited financial ability, to pursue higher education. He serves as Treasurer of the Board of directors for the Mount Vernon, Police Foundation, a non-for-profit organization which supports local Law Enforcement. Gerry attended Limerick Technical College in Ireland before completing graduate courses in Construction Management and Estimating, at NYU and obtaining his Real Estate License at Lehman College. Gerry is a long-time supporter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. He resides in Thornwood, New York with his wife, Mary, and their four children.
Karl Thimm, a longtime supporter of Make-A-Wish, is a co-founder of Karlen Inc, DBA Appliance Sales Plus and has been its President since 1979. He also sits on the Executive Board of Intercounty Appliance Corporation of Medford, New York. Karl graduated from Westchester Community College with a degree in Accounting and Business Management, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He serves as a Trustee for Putnam County Savings Bank (PCSB) and is a member of the Foundation Board of the Putnam Hospital Center. Karl and his wife Janis reside in Mahopac, New York. They have two grown children and six grandchildren.
George Whitehead is an audit partner at the accounting firm PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP where he is the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Westchester County practice office. George has nearly 25 years of experience working with public and privately held businesses focused in the manufacturing and distribution industries. He received a B.S. in public accounting from Pace University and is a CPA. George lives in Hopewell Junction with his wife Jennifer and their three daughters.
