At Legoland, Ryan and his family were amazed at all of the attractions—rides, shows and enormous building projects, all made out of Legos!
Ryan is a four-year-old boy with an active imagination. He loves going outside to play ball or play with his toy trucks, he loves the color green and learning about different animals. Above all else, Ryan loves to build and create stories with Legos. Because of this, it was no surprise that when asked what his one true, heartfelt wish would be, Ryan asked to go to Legoland in San Diego, California!
After careful planning and coordination by Ryan’s wish-granting team, his wish was granted in October of 2011. At 4 a.m. on the day they were to leave, Ryan and his family were amazed to see a limo pull up to take them to the airport! From the moment he saw the limo to the very last day of the trip, it seemed as if a smile never left Ryan’s face. He was thrilled to be visiting Legoland, and had so many exciting experiences while he was there!
When they arrived at Legoland, Ryan and his family were amazed at all of the attractions—rides, shows and enormous building projects, all made out of Legos! On their day at the park, Ryan was treated to a tour with a Legoland Master Builder—such an amazing treat for this Lego fanatic! The family also spent a great day at the famous San Diego Zoo. At the zoo they experienced an incredibly special VIP tour, which provided them with an up close and personal look at all of Ryan’s favorite animals. Ryan was so excited to be at the zoo that he skipped around for most of the day!
The trip to San Diego to visit Legoland was an incredible experience for Ryan, who was able to enjoy himself to the fullest and have his greatest wish realized. His parents thanked the wish granting team endlessly, explaining how excited they were to see Ryan so happy, and how wonderful it was to be able to have fun as a family, with nothing to worry about at all. The trip was a welcome break from doctor’s visits and the stresses of home, and allowed Ryan’s parents an opportunity to spend quality time with both of their children. They explained that the wish trip helped them to feel like a real family again. For Ryan, his little sister and his parents, the trip to San Diego and Legoland was truly a dream come true!
